There’s an older anime called “Excel Saga.” Sometimes it is referred to as its longer name, “Quack Experimental Animation Excel Saga.” At the end of most episodes it has text that pops up and says “Today’s experiment… … failed.”
That kinda popped into mind for this post.
Anyhow, did not do all the paintings promised on dates promised! Alas. Hopefully the next challenge (April) should go smoother! We’ll see!

Surprise surprise! I have basically fallen behind this month. Oops. Anyhow, I don’t intend to do less paintings before the end of February, so here is the second – which leaves three more. Whee!
For February of this year, I’m challenging myself to do a large’ish painting once a week. I’m starting very early with the first – I’m not sure if the plan is to do 4 and I’m starting early to give myself leeway, or if I’ll do 5 (1st, 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th). I guess we’ll see!
Anyhow, one for the Chinese zodiac year!
