I’m really going to have to cede this year’s writing challenge to my friend, I probably won’t be updating the next few weeks, or if I do it won’t be much.

Bad joke of the universe: my boyfriend got hit by a car. Yes. Again. It’s worse this time with a broken left foot and a very badly shattered right hip. So while I get situated with that, I won’t be writing. To make up for it, I may be posting a little into January of next year to hit the full post count for the 2025 writing challenge.

That being said, today is World Poetry Day, if anyone wishes to be all poetic or think about and share their favorite poems. It’s a good day for it.
